Remove Project
Sometimes, you may want to remove an project that you no longer need or use. QuickPlanX provides a safe and easy way to do that, by using the "Trash" function.
The "Trash" function works like the "Trash" in the macOS system, which means that the projects are not deleted immediately, but stored temporarily for data safety. You can restore the projects from the "Trash" view to the "My Projects" view, or permanently delete them from the "Trash" view.
Move to Trash
To move an project from the "My Projects" view to the "Trash" view, you can do the following:
- In the welcome window, long press on the icon of an project to show the context menu. (When on a Mac,
Right-click
or⌃
+click on the icon to show the context menu) - Tap the "Move to Trash" menu to move the project from the "My Projects" view to the "Trash" view.
The moved project will disappear from the "My Projects" view, and appear in the "Trash" view.
Restore from Trash
You can put back project from "Trash" to "My Projects".
- In the welcome window, tap the "Trash" button on the toolbar to switch to the "Trash" view.
- Tap on the project that you want to delete in the list. You will see a menu with various options.
- Tap the "Put Back" button on the toolbar to move the project from the "Trash" view to "My Projects" view.
Permanently Delete from Trash
To permanently delete an project from the "Trash" view, you can do the following:
- In the welcome window, tap the "Trash" button on the toolbar to switch to the "Trash" view.
- Tap on the project that you want to delete in the list. You will see a menu with various options.
- Tap the "Delete Immedi" button on the toolbar to permanently delete the project from the "Trash" view.
- You will see a confirmation message asking you if you are sure to delete the project permanently. Tap "Yes" to confirm, or "No" to cancel.
The deleted project will be removed from the "Trash" view, and you will not be able to restore it or access it again.
Once you delete an project from the "Trash" view, it is gone forever. There is no way to recover it, unless you have a backup copy of it. Please be careful when you delete an project, and make sure you don't need it anymore.
