Removing a Subproject

To remove a subproject in QuickPlanX, you need to delete the subproject task from its parent project. This action will permanently remove the subproject and all its contents.

How to Remove a Subproject

  1. Navigate to the parent project

    • If you're currently viewing the subproject, close it by tapping the "˄ Parent Project" button or using the subproject navigator to return to the parent project level.
  2. Select the subproject task

    • Locate and select the subproject task you want to remove in any view (Table, Gantt Chart, Tree, or Column).
  3. Delete the subproject task

warning

Removing a subproject will permanently delete the subproject and all tasks contained within it. While this action can be undone using the undo feature, the undo option is only available before the main project is closed and no other undo branch created. As a best practice, it's recommended to export your project as a QuickPlanX file for backup purposes before removing important subprojects.
