Single-line text fields are versatile, customizable fields without predefined usage restrictions. Each field allows you to enter a single line of text for any task in your project. QuickPlanX provides 15 single-line text fields to accommodate your project's specific needs. See more details about this field.

How to Edit​

To edit a single-line text field:

  1. Select the field by tapping or clicking on it
  2. Enter your text using the keyboard
  3. Press Enter or tap outside the field to save your changes

Specialized Usage: Email and Phone​

You can configure single-line text fields for specialized purposes like email addresses or phone numbers. To set this up:

  1. Navigate to the fields settings in your project
  2. Select the single-line text field you want to configure
  3. Choose the appropriate usage option (email or phone) from the dropdown menu

Once configured, QuickPlanX will display an action button next to the entered value, allowing you to:

  • Email fields: Launch your default email client with the address pre-filled
  • Phone fields: Initiate a call or open your phone app (on supported devices)

QuickPlanX does not validate the content you enter in single-line text fields, even when configured for specific usage types like email or phone. You are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of the information entered.
